Cut & Run

For those of you fortunate not to have been tricked into selling your soul to who don't use Facebook, I've finished a new song. It's called "Cut and Run". After coming off a series of more mellow, serious tunes, I felt like kicking out the stops and rocking a bit. I also felt like venting some frustration about a recent incident that took place here and on Facebook. Give it a listen through the link here or on the ReverbNation player in the right-hand margin.

More details on my Minstrel's Muse site.

  • That's a great little song! Really wish I had the time to do some recording.

    I'm glad you like it!

And I wish you had time to do it, too! I'd love to hear what you come up with!

(Still keeping the "strong bass line" request well in mind...if not quite under my fingers at present...)

    Good to see you!

When I first started on Facebook, I only visited it a couple of times a week and stayed well away from any of the "attractions". I eventually gave in to the peer pressure, and now it accounts for WAYYYYYY too much of my life. I'm amazed I'm getting anything done at all...

  • I always love it when you link to your music. This is a great song, Moody!

As to Facebook, I'm afraid to get hooked, but I feel like such an outsider. So behind the times. So out of step. So backwards. God, I'm showing my age.

  • Well done. I especially liked the intro, but the whole song is good. I've kept away from Facebook. They ask too many personal identifiers, and I'm not good at remembering lies, so I just skipped it rather than create a false persona. I have several friends on Facebook, so it's awkward to say, "sorry, I don't do that".
