OK, It's DONE!!!!!

I now have production copies of my newest homegrown album, Blog Blunder, ready to start foisting on people! As I mentioned before, now that the CD is done I've taken down all the posted links to the songs on this and my Minstrel's Muse site and have set up a regular promotional post for the album (including links to a few sample tracks).

As always, I've really appreciated the various comments I've gotten. If anyone would (seriously) like a copy of the CD (for better or for worse), let me know! Of course, my regular circle of visitors have most likely heard all the songs already...if not downloaded them...but whatever.

  • Yee Haw! Time to download to listen! (Even though I already have a few)

  • Some of these I'd listened to. And it was fun to listen to them again--"The Dreamer," for example. I don't believe I'd listened to "Oregon." That one makes me want to visit your home state. The only Pacific Northwest region I've visited was north of the border--British Columbia--and your "tree lyrics" brought back memories of riding the ferry from Vancouver to a place near Robert's Creek. Those TALL trees are so majestic and comforting and so different from the trees here in the American southwest.

And I agree with your wife about your finger piano piece. That is so lovely and serene. And I still like "Nothing." It's so much more.

  • I remember a song called Nogero... was that you, or was that Ydoom?

  • Congratulations for your other musical album.

Your CD cover is so creative, but your photo doesn’t quite match with the theme of your CD and those censored words. :-p

Putting a moody or angry you on the CD cover, sounds perfect!

May I have one with your autograph?

You mean you didn't download all the tunes when I had the links posted? Okay, I guess I'll have to send you a copy.

I really appreciate your comments...more than you know. Actually, of all my original songs, particularly the few I've performed live, "Oregon" seems to have done the best, though I may have to remake it. I was proud of that recording ten years ago, but now...

And "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" set to a ditzy, little keyboard drum beat? I still have that tape, too. I haven't listened to it for a while. I might have to dig it out. That is a work of sentimental art!

Actually, in the original photo I look pretty irritated. I don't really have a better angry one, and I couldn't bring myself to have someone take one.

Of course I'll send you an autographed copy!

  • MM, Congrats!! I'd really love an autographed copy but is it going to be a hassle sending it?

Not at all! I just need to know where to send it.
